The Accountability Minute:Business Acceleration|Productivity
I’m Anne Bachrach and for over 27 years I’ve been best known as The Accountability Coach™. Some even have called me The Accountability Pit-Bull™.
Did you know that the #1 reason people don’t get what they want is lack of accountability?
If you want to make more money, work less, and enjoy even better work life balance, The Accountability Minute is perfect for you.
Are you sick and tired of your business just making you sick and tired?
You know the drill. You invest a lot of time in building and growing your business. You make many personal sacrifices. You hope that the trade-off is more clients, more revenue, more progress toward your goals, and more prosperity, so you can enjoy the business and life you truly want. Good intentions don’t magically lead to good results. They are a start; however, they are unfortunately not enough. This is just the truth! Poor follow through takes a toll on virtually every aspect of our lives. It not only threatens our health, it also prevents us from achieving personal, financial, and career goals that are well within our reach.
When you are held accountable to the activity required to achieve your goals, you will make more money, be able to work less, and enjoy even having your ideal business and ideal life.
If this sounds at all like something you want, you are in the right place to accelerate your results!
Not only can you get value from listening to a variety of proven business success topics, you also get access to complimentary high-value business success resources that I share during some episodes. The episodes are some of my absolute BEST ideas for helping you to create the kind of business and life you have always wanted.
Anne Bachrach is author of many books, including Excuses Don't Count; Results Rule!, Live Life with No Regrets; How the Choices we Make Impact our Lives, No Excuses, The Work Life Balance Emergency Kit, The Guide to Stopping Procrastination, The Power of Visualization, My Gratitude Journal, and The Roadmap To Success with Stephen Covey and Ken Blanchard, and more.

Strategy #6 for Dealing with Difficult Situations
Today we are talking about Strategy #6 of the 6 strategies to help you deal with difficult situations which is to Be Realistic.
Be realistic in what you can accomplish in any given amount of time. Although you’d like to think of yourself as Wonder Woman or Superman, there is a limit to what you can accomplish at any one time. Pushing yourself to do more than is physically possible will only create needless difficult situations and add to your stress. Set up realistic goals for accomplishing tasks, without forcing yourself into a whirlwind. Prioritize, create a schedule and stick to it. Using a timer can also help; open your phone and put it on your desk and use the timer every day for a period of time. Don’t’ let your phone distract you with other noises other than the timer, however. If you’re swamped at the end of the day, reprioritize the tasks for tomorrow before going to bed, so you can rest peacefully.
You can overcome difficult strategies with ease just by making a few changes to the way you handle tasks. Once you identify strategies for dealing with difficult situations and implement them, you’ll be prepared to handle just about any tough situation that’s thrown your way. It’s about focusing on the end result, breaking each task down into manageable steps, and altering the way you work to reach maximum productivity.
Remember, when you’re feeling overwhelmed, that is a sign to stop and evaluate the situation. Tough situations are best dealt with calm and objectiveness. If you are too emotionally involved, upset or angry, it may be best to let it go for the time being. Take time to think and reflect upon your desired outcome and form your conversation around that goal. If you are ready to address it in 15 minutes, great. If you need 24 hours, that’s okay too. The important thing to remember is to follow these six strategies we have been exploring over the past 6 days, to help you achieve your end result - however, long it takes. You got this!
Consider using a time log to occasionally monitor what you do with your valuable time every day for a week or two. You might be amazed at how you actually spend your time versus how you think you spend your time.
